Terms of Use for Leave a Note

By creating an account or using Leave a Note ("the app," "we," "us"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. These terms apply in addition to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content

Leave a Note has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not use the app to send content that is:

• sexually explicit, or that sexualizes anyone under 18;
• harassing, threatening, bullying, or hateful;
• violent, graphic, or that encourages self-harm;
• illegal, or that infringes someone else's rights;
• spam, scams, or impersonation of another person.

Reporting and Blocking

Every note you receive can be reported from the "…" menu on the note, and you can block the person who sent it at any time. Blocking disconnects you, permanently deletes every note between you, and prevents that person from connecting with you again. We review reports within 24 hours and will remove objectionable content and suspend or delete the account of anyone who sent it.

Your Account

You're responsible for what you send and for keeping your login secure. You must be at least 13 to use the app. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.

Your Content

You own the photos and captions you send. You give us permission to store and deliver them to the person you're connected with, and to review them if they're reported. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

No Warranty

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes. We'll update the date above when we do, and continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
